Art and Design have always been a passion of mine. I have been creative since I was a very young child. Throughout school I always loved any project where I could show off my creative abilities and when it came time to choose a major in college, of course I chose Fine Art. After spending years painting and learning to articulate visual theory, I chose to pursue a Master’s Degree in Visual Communication Design.

During my time in Grad school, I was able to nurture my creativity in a different way. I learned to use visual clarity for communication in almost any project. I learned to work on a team and to leverage my knowledge as a designer to have a seat at the table. These images are a snapshot into some of my favorite projects I have worked on throughout grad school and beyond.

The gallery below shows some images from documents I created that involved personas or storyboards. Oftentimes a persona can be strengthened by adding a storyboard in order to communicate the value of the proposal by putting it in context.

The gallery below shows some digital design work for projects completed during Graduate school. These projects range from workshop documents to posters, to experience maps.

Painting has always been an important part of my life. I have been painting for many years. I most enjoy painting directly from life whether that is plein air or still life. The subjects of my paintings have always fit into a theme of nature and light. I love to be in nature so it makes sense that my artwork reflects that natural desire.

The paintings below were created at the end of my time in undergrad and the following years.
